I'm participating in Hoist For Hospice 2026. 🏗️
This unique fundraising event will elevate me to new heights, to raise funds for Fitzroy Community Hospice. I am being hoisted up 8-20 metres in the air inside the work box of a crane on Wednesday 13 May 2026. To come back down again, I must raise at least $5,000 for the Hospice! The event will take place at CQLX Gracemere from 6:30am and the spectacle will be fully visible from the Capricorn Highway.
This uplifting FUNdraising event will bolster the provision of palliative care and bereavement support services in Central Queensland. As a local charity, all funds raised for Fitzroy Community Hospice will stay locally and will benefit our local community.

Almost 3yrs ago - I lost my Mum to cancer and whilst my story is not unique- the level of care, compassion and humility the Fitzroy Community Hospice offer those needing palliative care certainly is. I encourage you to take a tour of this facility and prove me wrong - I dare you but if you can’t - then I challenge you to sign up to this amazing fundraising event in 2027 and help raise funds to ensure they can continue their fabulous work for our loved ones who deserve this outstanding level of care as they prepare to meet a higher power x (or a lower one haha)
I know times are hard so if you can donate to help me raise funds then that is bloody fantastic and if not - I’d love if you can share and promote my page.
Our community never ceases to amaze me with their generosity - you guys are simply beautiful x
